DONTNOD Entertainment has announced that we’ll be getting more details on Life is Strange 2 on August 20, presumably for gamescom. You can watch the new Life is Strange 2 teaser above, and check out the previously-released date announcement below. The Life is Strange 2 episodes will begin on September 27, 2018.
The game is the sequel to Life is Strange, which kicked off its five episodes in January of 2015. That game allowed players to go back in time to influence the past, present and future. In Life is Strange, you are Maxine Caulfield, a photography student, who, while saving the life of her childhood friend Chloe, discovers that she can go back in time. The two young women soon find themselves confronted with the sordid underbelly of Arcadia Bay as they find out the truth about the disappearance of another student.
Meanwhile, Max begins to have premonitory visions, and tries to understand the implications of her power. She must quickly learn that changing the past can have disastrous consequences for the future.
That was followed in June, 2018 with The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, which gave a glimpse in to Life is Strange 2‘s new story. In The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, you play as Chris, an ordinary 10-year old boy who dreams of being a superhero. Chris has a big imagination that will take him on all sorts of adventures, but on this particular Saturday something truly extraordinary will happen to him.
