Focus Features has released the official Last Night in Soho trailer, which previews the highly-anticipated new Edgar Wright film. You can watch the Last Night in Soho trailer using the player below and you’ll find the poster and more photos underneath.

Focus Features previously announced that the movie will release in theaters on October 22, 2021.

The film was originally scheduled to be released on September 25, 2020, but it was delayed to April 23, 2021 before being delayed again to October.

The London-set psychological thriller stars Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit, Emma.), Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie (Jo Jo Rabbit), Matt Smith (The Crown), Terence Stamp, Diana Rigg, Rita Tushingham, Michael Ajao, and Synnøve Karlsen.

Edgar Wright and Penny Dreadful scribe Krysty Wilson-Cairns co-wrote the screenplay for the movie, produced by Nira Park, Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, Laura Richardson and Wright. Focus Features and Film4 co-financed the film.

Citing Don’t Look Now and Roman Polanski’s Repulsion as influences, Edgar Wright previously said the film “is about the London I’ve existed in.”

He added: “I realized I had never made a film about central London – specifically Soho, somewhere I’ve spent a huge amount of time in the last 25 years. With Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead you make movies about places you’ve lived in.”

Edgar Wright’s last film, Baby Driver (check price at Amazon), was a runaway success in 2017 with $226.9 million earned on a budget of just $34 million.

Focus Features will release Last Night in Soho in North American theaters, while Universal Pictures International distributes overseas.
