In addition to the Shadow and Bone Season 2 announcement, Netflix has revealed new footage from Kate, Blood Red Sky and The Last Mercenary.
The new videos debuted today at Netflix Geeked’s first-ever Geeked Week, a virtual fan-facing event revealing first looks and celebrating all things genre entertainment at Netflix.

We’ll kick things off with Kate, which is coming to the streaming service on September 10, 2021. The film is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan from a script by Umair Aleem.
Kate stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Tadanobu Asano, Miyavi, Michiel Huisman, introducing Miku Martineau, with Jun Kunimura, and Woody Harrelson.

In Kate, after she’s irreversibly poisoned, a ruthless criminal operative has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims.
The film is produced by Bryan Unkeless, Kelly McCormick, and Patrick Newall.
Coming to Netflix on July 23, 2021 is Blood Red Sky, starring Peri Baumeister, Kais Setti, Alexander Scheer, Dominic Purcell, and Graham McTavish.
The movie is directed by Peter Thorwarth from a script by Thorwarth and Stefan Holtz. It is produced by Christian Becker.

In Blood Red Sky, a woman with a mysterious illness is forced into action when a group of terrorists attempt to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight.
In order to protect her son she will have to reveal a dark secret, and unleash the vampire within that she fought to hide.
And debuting on the streaming service on July 30, 2021 is The Last Mercenary (Le Dernier Mercenaire), starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Directed by David Charhon from a script by Charhon and Ismaël Sy Savané, the movie also stars Alban Ivanov, Assa Sylla, Samir Decazza, Patrick Timsit, Eric Judor, and Miou-Miou. It is produced by Jean-Charles Levy, Nicolas Manuel, Olivier Albou, Laurence Schonberg, David Charhon, Jakéma Charhon, Eponine Maillet, Olias Barco, and Vlad Riashyn.

Richard Brumère, aka “La Brume” (“The Mist”), a former French secret service special agent turned mercenary, is back in the saddle as the immunity he was granted 25 years earlier for his son Archibald is lifted. A mob operation threatens Archibald’s life.
