Colin Trevorrow is returning to direct the third chapter in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World saga. Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow return to executive produce. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Spielberg and Trevorrow for this installment.

Joining the Jurassic team is Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim Uprising, The Black Hole), who has co-written the Jurassic World 3 screenplay with Trevorrow. They worked from a story by Derek Connolly and Trevorrow, who together co-wrote Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Trevorrow directed 2015’s Jurassic World, which went on to gross $1.67 billion worldwide and is the sixth-highest-grossing film in cinema history. Trevorrow will also continue to consult with Spielberg and Marshall on the management of the growing Jurassic brand, including video games, toys, novels, animated LEGO shorts and theme parks.

The Jurassic franchise has grossed more than $5 billion collectively at the worldwide box office. You can check out Bryce Dallas Howard’s new hairstyle for the sequel below as well.

Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled to hit theaters on June 11, 2021.
