Jungle Cruise Filming Wraps with a Message from Johnson and Blunt

Jungle Cruise filming has wrapped and to celebrate, The Walt Disney Studios has released a wrap video with a special message from stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt!

Jaume Collet-Serra (The Commuter, The Shallows) is directing the movie based on the Disney Parks attraction of the same name. Jungle Cruise is scheduled for an October 11, 2019 release date.

In the film, Frank (Johnson), a boat captain, takes his sister and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find a tree believed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.

Also starring are Jack Whitehall, Édgar Ramírez, Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti, Quim Gutiérrez, Veronica Falcon, Dani Rovira, and Andy Nyman.

The script was written by Glenn Ficarra, Michael Green and John Requa. The producers are John Davis, John Fox, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia. Douglas C. Merrifield is executive producing.
