Following the release of the new trailer and posters, Lionsgate has shared a special feature for John Wick Chapter 4 as well. You can go behind the scenes of the anticipated film in the video below!
The fourth installment opens on March 24 and is directed by Chad Stahelski, who also helmed John Wick, John Wick: Chapter 2, and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (watch the previous movies via Amazon).
In John Wick Chapter 4, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
The cast of the Lionsgate release also includes Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.
The movie, based on characters created by Derek Kolstad, is written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. It is a Thunder Road Films / 87eleven production.
The John Wick Chapter 4 producers include Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski. The executive producers are Keanu Reeves, Louise Rosner, David Leitch, and Michael Paseornek.
Released in theaters in May of 2019, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum received an 89% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was rated R for pervasive strong violence, and some language.
In the third film, John Wick has a $14 million price tag on his head after killing a member of the High Table, the shadowy international assassins’ guild.
Now excommunicado, and with an army of the world’s most ruthless hit men and women on his trail, John must find a way to survive in the third chapter of the adrenaline-fueled action series.
The third movie also starred Halle Berry, Marc Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, and Oscar winner Anjelica Huston.
In addition to Chapter 4, production has also begun for the film spinoff Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas.
Reeves is expected to return as John Wick in Ballerina, as is Ian McShane as Continental Hotel manager Winston. The film also features Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Gabriel Byrne.
Len Wiseman is directing Ballerina from a screenplay by Shay Hatten. Producing are Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski. Brady Fujikawa and Chelsea Kujawa are overseeing the project for Lionsgate.
