Jamie Lee Curtis Photo from the First Day of Halloween Kills

Jamie Lee Curtis has begun filming Halloween Kills, the sequel coming to theaters on October 16, 2020. “NEVER SAY DIE! First day back in the battle for my life!” she said in her social posts. You can view the full Jamie Lee Curtis photo below.

Universal recently announced that two Halloween sequels will be shot back-to-back, with Halloween Ends coming on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and directed by David Gordon Green, went on to become the highest-grossing installment in the classic horror franchise at more than $250 million worldwide. The two new films are in development at Trancas International Films, Miramax and Blumhouse Productions.

Halloween Kills is written by David Gordon Green & Danny McBride & Scott Teems, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. The film will be directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block. John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green and Ryan Freimann are executive producers. Ryan Turek is overseeing the project for Blumhouse.

Halloween Ends is written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, and Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier. The movie will be directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block. John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green and Ryan Freimann are executive producers. Ryan Turek is overseeing the project for Blumhouse.
