A First Look at Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio in the Spider-Man Sequel?

This weekend, new photos of the Spider-Man: Far From Home cast in Venice, Italy surfaced. More filming was taking place a little more north, however. Twitter user Martin Knap has posted videos and photos of a set for the sequel in Liberec, Czech Republic that appear to show what Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio will look like.

While it doesn’t appear to actually be Gyllenhaal in the costume, you can get a good sneak peek at what Mysterio looks like in the tweets below. The only thing that seems to be missing is the upside down fishbowl helmet.

The Spider-Man: Far From Home cast includes Tom Holland again in the title role, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Angourie Rice, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Jake Gyllenhaal, JB Smoove, Numan Acar, Remy Hii, and Michael Keaton.

Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill will also appear in the film.

Jon Watts is directing again from a script by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing the film. The sequel will take Peter Parker to Europe.

Spider-Man: Homecoming opened on in July of 2017 and grossed $880 million worldwide, with $334.2 million coming from North America and $545.9 million from overseas markets.
