Warner Bros. Pictures has released the international Inception trailer for the film’s upcoming 10th Anniversary re-release. The film will return to international markets on August 12, while the U.S. debut is currently set for August 21. You can watch the Inception trailer using the player below.
The re-release of Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster film will will include a never-before-seen sneak peek at the filmmaker’s Tenet, as well as the studio’s other upcoming movies.
Leonardo DiCaprio stars in this contemporary science fiction action film set “within the architecture of the mind.” Written, directed and produced by Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The Prestige), Inception is yet another visionary tale from a startingly original filmmaker who continually raises the bar with every film he makes.
Shot in London, Paris, Tangiers, Calgary and Los Angeles, Nolan’s mind-bending film also stars Academy Award winners Michael Caine and Marion Cotillard, in addition to Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy and Oscar nominees Ken Watanabe and Tom Berenger.
When the Inception re-release was announced, the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) said: “We are excited that our partners at Warner Bros. will offer a new generation of film fans the opportunity to enjoy Inception the way it was originally intended to be seen – on the big screen.
“Over these last months we have been keeping Warner Bros. closely informed of our work towards reopening our theatres in accordance with governmental health and safety requirements, and we are looking forward to audiences enjoying Tenet in our theatres all around the world.”
Christopher Nolan’s Tenet will debut in 70 international territories on August 26 before opening in select cities in the U.S. on September 3.
The international Tenet release will include countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Spain and the UK. While theaters have started opening in China, the movie is not scheduled to open there yet.

Christopher Nolan directed from his own original screenplay, utilizing a mixture of IMAX and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen.
The film is being produced by Nolan and Emma Thomas. Thomas Hayslip is serving as executive producer. The movie reportedly carries a budget of $205 million, making it Nolan’s most expensive original film.
Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, and visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson.
The Warner Bros. released is a Syncopy Production and the score is being composed by Ludwig Göransson.
