HBO has announced the High Maintenance Season Four premiere date and revealed the first teaser, which you can watch using the player below. The comedy series, created by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, returns for its nine-episode fourth season Friday, February 7 (11:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT).
The critically-acclaimed show uses The Guy (Sinclair), a marijuana dealer, to tell a variety of distinctly authentic, empathetic and insightful stories about the New York Community, including his own. Sinclair has previously said that the TV shows Six Feet Under and Party Down were inspirations for the web series.
High Maintenance was created by Katja Blichfeld (Emmy-winning casting director of 30 Rock) and Ben Sinclair (Home Again, Sisters). The executive producers are Katja Blichfeld, Ben Sinclair and Russell Gregory, and the producers are Willy Friedman, Gwen Bialic and Emi Irikawa.
High Maintenance originally premiered as a web series on Vimeo on November 11, 2012 and began airing as a television series on HBO on September 16, 2016. The show’s second HBO season premiered on January 19, 2018, and its third on January 20, 2019. The first season consisted of six episodes, the second season was 10 episodes, and the third season was nine episodes.
