HBO and HBO Max have revealed the first photo from And Just Like That…, the first teaser from Scenes From a Marriage, casting for Search Party Season 5, and a renewal of Pause with Sam Jay.

AND JUST LIKE THAT…
Production of the ten-episode series And Just Like That… has begun in New York City. HBO Max has released a first look image with Sarah Jessica Parker reprising the role of Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York.
The Max Original And Just Like That…, the new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series Sex and the City, follows Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
The previously-announced cast includes Sara Ramírez, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler.
The executive producers are Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi and Michael Patrick King. The writers include King, Samantha Irby, Rachna Fruchbom, Keli Goff, Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky. The HBO series Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and based on the book Sex and the City by Candace Bushnell.

SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE
HBO has also released its first teaser and image for Scenes From a Marriage, starring Oscar Isaac (HBO’s Show Me a Hero) and Jessica Chastain (Academy Award nominee for Zero Dark Thirty). Adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s classic Swedish miniseries and developed, written and directed by Hagai Levi (HBO’s In Treatment and Our Boys, The Affair), the upcoming limited series will debut this September on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
Scenes From a Marriage re-examines the original’s iconic depiction of love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple, played by Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain.
Scenes From a Marriage is produced by Media Res and Endeavor for HBO. The executive producers are Hagai Levi, Amy Herzog, Michael Ellenberg, Lars Blomgren, Jessica Chastain, Oscar Isaac, Daniel Bergman, and Blair Breard.
SEARCH PARTY
In casting news, Oscar and Emmy Award nominee Jeff Goldblum is joining the cast of the beloved comedy series Search Party for its fifth season. Goldblum will star in the recurring role of Tunnel Quinn, a charismatic tech billionaire who enters a very public business partnership with Dory (Alia Shawkat) on the other side of her near death experience.
Dory folds her old friends Portia (Meredith Hagner), Elliott (John Early) and Drew (John Reynolds) into the venture as they embark on an altruistic but terrifying journey.
The Max Original Search Party is executive produced by Sarah-Violet Bliss, Charles Rogers, Michael Showalter, and Jax Media’s Lilly Burns and Tony Hernandez.

PAUSE WITH SAM JAY
HBO’s late-night talk show series Pause with Sam Jay has been renewed for a second season. Season 1 debuted in May of this year.
Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO Programming, said: “Pause is such a completely unique format, it’s the perfect platform for Sam’s keen social observations, her unfiltered, comedic point of view, and most of all, her insightful conversation and openness to different perspectives. We’re so happy to work with Sam and Prentice on a second season.”
