A new HBO Max programming preview has been released on the heels of the news that Warner Bros.’ 2021 slate of films will be available in theaters and on the streaming service the same day.

As the home of storytelling from some of the world’s most iconic entertainment brands — HBO, Warner Bros., DC and more packaged with compelling new Max Originals — HBO Max will deliver a huge array of series, movies and specials to thrill audiences of all ages next year.
Featured in the spot are new HBO Originals including the limited series Mare of Easttown, with Kate Winslet starring as a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as her life crumbles around her; drama series The Nevers, set in Victorian England and following a varied group of Londoners who suddenly manifest abnormal abilities; and two-part documentary Tiger, a portrait of global golf icon Tiger Woods.
Also included is the second special episode of Emmy-winning drama series Euphoria, alongside returning originals Emmy-winning comedy series Insecure and Outstanding Drama Series Emmy winner Succession.
Max Originals featured include Gossip Girl, a reimagining of the iconic YA series for a new generation; Nicki Minaj, a docuseries offering a look inside the superstar’s life; and crime thriller No Sudden Move, directed by Oscar and Emmy-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh and starring a stellar ensemble cast including Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, Jon Hamm and Ray Liotta; the much-anticipated Friends Reunion Special; and the director’s cut of Justice League. All will debut on HBO Max in 2021.
HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, also featured, will debut in 2022.
The spot also includes action-packed scenes from the highly anticipated Warner Bros. film Wonder Woman 1984 – the first of the slate with its debut on Christmas Day in theaters and on HBO Max in the U.S.
The films will be available for 31 days from their theatrical release on HBO Max in the U.S. at no additional cost to subscribers.

Additionally, new and returning subscribers can sign up for a pre-paid offer at HBOMax.com and get 6 months of HBO Max at a discounted rate of $69.99 plus applicable taxes.
After 6 months, they’ll be charged the current subscription rate (currently $14.99/month, plus applicable tax) until they cancel their subscription. The promotion is set to expire 1/15/2021.
In addition to the release of the HBO Max programming preview, the streaming service announced a second season pickup for holiday dating series 12 Dates of Christmas as well. The show follows single “leads” as they meet potential love interests and go on the titular 12 dates in the hopes of finding that special someone to bring home for the holidays.
Season one was showrun by Sam Dean (Love is Blind), filmed at a castle in Austria, and followed hopeless romantics Faith, Chad and Garrett as they searched for love in a magical winter wonderland. All eight episodes of the first season are available now on HBO Max, and the new reunion episode 12 Dates of Christmas: Unwrapped premieres today.
Hosted by D.J. “Shangela” Pierce, the reunion features Chad, Faith, Garrett and their love interests unwrapping everything that’s gone down since last Christmas – from settling scores and revealing juicy behind-the-scenes stories to unmasking secret hookups and answering whether our couples stayed together… or said goodbye.

The streaming service has also picked up the U.S. rights to the quirky new preschool adventure Love Monster, from Boat Rocker Studios’, a division of global media company Boat Rocker Media. Episodes featuring the huggable and lovable monster are available now on the streamer.
