Happiest Season Photos Featuring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis

-

Sony Pictures has revealed the first Happiest Season photos, featuring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis in the romantic comedy. Directed by Clea DuVall, the film is scheduled to open in theaters on November 25.

Written by DuVall and Mary Holland, the movie also stars Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Daniel Levy, Victor Garber, and Mary Steenburgen.

Meeting your girlfriend’s family for the first time can be tough. Planning to propose at her family’s annual Christmas dinner — until you realize that they don’t even know she’s gay — is even harder.

When Abby (Kristen Stewart) learns that Harper (Mackenzie Davis) has kept their relationship a secret from her family, she begins to question the girlfriend she thought she knew.

Happiest Season is a holiday romantic comedy that hilariously captures the range of emotions tied to wanting your family’s acceptance, being true to yourself, and trying not to ruin Christmas.

The film is produced by Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner. Jonathan McCoy and Wyck Godfrey are the executive produce.

Sony’s TriStar Pictures will release the film worldwide, with the exception of the United Kingdom and Canada, which will be handled by eOne.

Hannah Minghella and Shary Shirazi are overseeing the project for TriStar Pictures. Nick Meyer and Zev Foreman are overseeing for eOne.

Principal photography for the movie began on January 21, 2020 in Pittsburgh and wrapped on February 28, 2020.
