You’re not going to have a good day, you’re going to have a GREAT day because the Free Guy Disney Plus release was just announced. The epic adventure comedy will be available for all Disney+ subscribers to enjoy on February 23, 2022.
In addition to the Free Guy Disney Plus announcement, Disney+ has also released a new video highlighting all of the originals and library content that will be available in 2022. The special look, which you can check out below, gives fans a preview of some of the most highly-anticipated titles coming next year.

The 2022 lineup includes Free Guy, Eternals, The Book of Boba Fett, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Hocus Pocus 2, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Moon Knight and more.
In addition to Eternals coming to Disney+ on January 12, 2022 (read more here), Disney announced today that the Marvel Studios film will be available on Digital January 12 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD February 15. The physical release comes with never-before-seen bonus material including four deleted scenes and a gag reel.

Marvel Studios’ Eternals follows a group of ancient heroes from beyond the stars who had protected Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.
The Eternals cast includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, Free Guy was released in theaters August 13 and has grossed over $330 million worldwide to date.
The 20th Century Studios film recently won a People’s Choice Award for The Comedy Movie of 2021 and received a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Comedy.

In Free Guy, a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game decides to become the hero of his own story… one he rewrites himself.
Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way… before it is too late.

Free Guy was directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn and a story by Lieberman. Disney previously confirmed that a sequel is in the works.
