Disney’s 20th Century Studios has announced the Free Guy 4K and Digital release dates for September and October. The movie will be available on Digital September 28 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on October 12. Read on for the features included and to view the cover art!
The news comes after Free Guy added $35.9 million at the global box office this weekend to bring its worldwide total up to $111.9 million. The film has grossed $58.8 million in North America and $53.1 million internationally.

Earlier this month, Disney also confirmed that the studio wants a sequel to Free Guy.
In the first movie, a bank teller (Ryan Reynolds) who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game decides to become the hero of his own story – one he rewrites himself. Now, in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way… before it’s too late.

20th Century Studios‘ Free Guy also stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi. The film is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn.
The epic adventure-comedy is rated PG-13 for strong fantasy violence throughout, language and crude/suggestive references.

The movie is produced by Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Shawn Levy, Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kolbrenner, with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.
