First Lethal Weapon Season 3 Promo with Seann William Scott

FOX has started airing the first Lethal Weapon Season 3 promo that features newcomer to the show, Seann William Scott, as William Cole. The actor replaced Clayne Crawford who played Martin Riggs the first two seasons, earlier this year. Though it features some very obvious green screen work, you can watch the funny promo above.

Lethal Weapon Season 3 will premiere on Tuesday, September 25 after The Gifted. In Season Three, series star Damon Wayans will be joined by Seann William Scott (the American Pie franchise”), who will play a new character who folds into a partnership with Murtaugh (Wayans). This marks Scott’s first network series regular role.

“Seann is a fantastic addition to this already amazing cast,” Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, said previously. “Lethal Weapon is packed with action, drama and pure fun and we can’t wait to see Damon and Seann together on screen. Matt Miller, his incredible team and everyone at Warner Bros. have been tremendous partners, and we’re thrilled to bring this show back for another season.”

Combining action, drama and humor, Lethal Weapon is based on the hit movie franchise. The series stars Damon Wayans, Seann William Scott, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney and Michelle Mitchenor.

Lethal Weapon is a production of Warner Bros. Television in association with Lin Pictures and Good Session Productions. Matt Miller, Dan Lin, Jennifer Gwartz and McG serve as executive producers.
