Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Trailer Appears

Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which gives you a new look at the anticipated third installment. You can watch the trailer by scrolling down!

The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas globally on April 15, 2022, and potentially earlier in a few international markets.

Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world.

Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.

But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?

The logo for the film was previously revealed and celebrates the title and Dumbledore’s inclusion with flashes of shiny, embellished silver. Look carefully and you’ll see a wand carefully cut into the ‘D’ of Dumbledore too.

Many of the characters you know and love from the first two Fantastic Beasts films will return, such as Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander and Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore along with Ezra Miller (Credence/Aurelius Dumbledore), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) and Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein).

Comedian and actor Jessica Williams, who had a brief appearance in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, will return as Ilvermorny professor Eulalie ‘Lally’ Hicks, while Mads Mikkelsen will debut as Gellert Grindelwald.

The Warner Bros. Pictures release will once again be directed by David Yates. The screenplay is written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves.

The producers are David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram and Tim Lewis. The executive producers include Neil Blair, Danny Cohen, Josh Berger and Courtenay Valenti.

The first Fantastic Beasts film introduced us to American wizarding life in 1927 New York, the second took us to Paris, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be visiting Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Released in 2016, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them grossed $814 million worldwide, while the 2018 sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald brought in $654.9 million globally.
