Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (This is Us) are joining the Frozen 2 voice cast, according to Variety. The Walt Disney Animation Studios sequel is scheduled for a November 27, 2019 release.
Wood and Brown will be joining Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad in the anticipated sequel. They will again voice Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff, respectively. Wood and Brown’s characters have not been revealed yet.
Jennifer Lee (who is now chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios) and Chris Buck are back directing Frozen 2, written by Lee and produced by Peter Del Vecho.
The first film was released in November 2013 and went on to gross $1.276 billion at the worldwide box office. It won the Academy Award for best animated film in 2014.
Frozen has also been turned into a Broadway hit musical, which received three Tony Award nominations this year.
