Russo Brothers Reveal New Deadly Class Trailer at Comic-Con

The adaptation of the graphic novel premieres on Syfy in 2019

Syfy released the new Deadly Class trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con today! Based on the graphic novel of the same name by co-creators Rick Remender and Wes Craig, the series will premiere in 2019.

From Sony Pictures Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions, the graphic novel was adapted to television by executive producers Remender and Miles Feldsott. Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America films), Anthony Russo (Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America films) and Mike Larocca (Spy) from Russo Brothers Productions and Adam Targum (Banshee) from Chipmunk Hill will also executive produce along with Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline). Targum will serve as showrunner and Kreiger will direct.

Deadly Class follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties may prove fatal. Set against the backdrop of late ’80s counter culture, Deadly Class is a coming-of-age journey unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

The cast includes Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, and Michel Duval.
