Deadly Class Teaser Trailer from the New York Comic Con

Produced by the Russo brothers, the series premieres on January 16

Syfy has brought the new Deadly Class teaser trailer online following its debut at the New York Comic Con! Based on the graphic novel of the same name by co-creators Rick Remender and Wes Craig, the series will premiere on Syfy January 16.

Deadly Class follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties may prove fatal. Set against the backdrop of late ’80s counter culture, Deadly Class is a coming-of-age journey unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

The cast includes Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, and Michel Duval.

From Sony Pictures Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions, the graphic novel was adapted to television by executive producers Remender and Miles Feldsott. Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America films), Anthony Russo (Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America films) and Mike Larocca (Spy) from Russo Brothers Productions and Adam Targum (Banshee) from Chipmunk Hill will also executive produce along with Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline). Targum will serve as showrunner and Kreiger will direct.
