Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Set Videos Hit!

Paramount Pictures has provided us with no less than two videos from the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two set! You can watch both videos by scrolling down.

The first video, which clocks in at over nine minutes, debuted in IMAX theaters this weekend and gives fans a look at how the production filmed the anticipated motorcycle stunt in Hellesylt, Norway back in September of 2020.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is coming to theaters on July 14, 2023 and will be followed by Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two on June 28, 2024.

Dead Reckoning Part One is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, and Pom Klementieff.

The cast is rounded out by Mariela Garriga, Henry Czerny, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Frederick Schmidt, Charles Parnell, Rob Delaney, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, and Mark Gatiss.

The movie is produced by McQuarrie and Cruise. The executive producers include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Tommy Gormley.

McQuarrie is returning to write and direct the two Paramount Pictures sequels. McQuarrie wrote and directed the last two films, which were both big hits. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation was released in 2015 and earned $682.7 million worldwide.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout grossed $791.1 million globally in 2018 and is the biggest film in the franchise.

The second video, also from the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning set, features Tom Cruise thanking fans for going to theaters to make Top Gun: Maverick such a success. He does so while skydiving, naturally.

Top Gun: Maverick grossed $1.489 billion worldwide, with $718.7 million coming from North American theaters and $770 million from international markets. The film will be available on Paramount+ starting December 22.

The sequel takes place 34 years after the events of the original film and pits legendary Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell as the new flight instructor of Top Gun, in which he guides Bradley, Goose’s son, who seeks to become a pilot much as his father was.

After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him.

When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.”

Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.

Top Gun: Maverick also stars Jennifer ConnellyJon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis with Ed Harris and Val Kilmer.

Top Gun: Maverick is produced by Paramount Pictures, Skydance and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. The movie is directed by Joseph Kosinski from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger and Eric Warren Singer and Christopher McQuarrie, and a story by Peter Craig and Justin Marks.
