Crisis on Infinite Earths is the Fall 2019 Arrowverse Crossover!

Fans of The CW‘s Arrowverse didn’t have to wait long to find out what the next crossover will be! At the end of the three-night Elseworlds crossover, Oliver Queen and Barry Allen are having a beer when Oliver gets a call from Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. She says that she just came from Arkham and reveals that Jeremy Davies’ Dr. John Deegan has made a friend – Psycho Pirate. It is then revealed that Crisis on Infinite Earths will air in the fall of 2019!

“This is the story that changed the DC Universe forever. A mysterious being known as the Anti-Monitor has begun a crusade across time to bring about the end of all existence. As alternate earths are systematically destroyed, the Monitor quickly assembles a team of super-heroes from across time and space to battle his counterpart and stop the destruction. DC’s greatest heroes including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman, assemble to stop the menace, but as they watch both the Flash and Supergirl die in battle, they begin to wonder if even all of the heroes in the world can stop this destructive force.”

The limited Crisis on Infinite Earths series consisted of 12 issues and ran from April 1985 to March 1986.

The three-night Elseworlds crossover began with The Flash episode premiering on Sunday, December 9. That was followed by Arrow on Dec. 10, and Elseworlds concluded tonight with SupergirlElseworlds was the publication imprint for American comic books produced by DC Comics for stories that took place outside the DC Universe canon.

Elseworlds marked Ruby Rose’s first appearance as Batwoman, but the actress will also play the role in the Batwoman series in development for the 2019-20 season.

Newcomers to the Elseworlds cast also include Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Cassandra Jean Amell (Stephen Amell’s real-life wife) as Nora Fries, the wife of Mr. Freeze, LaMonica Garrett (Designated Survivor) as The Monitor, and Jeremy Davies as Dr. John Deegan.
