Prime Video has released the official trailer for the Australian Amazon Original series Class of ’07, which will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 17 globally. You can check out the trailer for Class of ’07 in the player below.

Class of ‘07 is a comedy about a never-ending high school reunion with life-and-death stakes. When an apocalyptic tidal wave hits during the 10-year reunion of an all-girls high school, a group of women must find a way to survive atop the island peak of their high school campus.

Now freshly entangled in decade-old drama, their greatest threat to survival isn’t the end of the world, but each other.

Class of ’07 is an eight-part, 30-minute series and an unapologetic love letter to female friendship, featuring two old friends finding their way back to each other in the most absurd of settings: the apocalypse.

Class of ‘07 was shot in and around Sydney and was created, written, executive produced, and directed by award-winning Australian writer and director Kacie Anning (Upload).

The series features a standout Australian cast including Emily Browning, Caitlin Stasey, Megan Smart, Steph Tisdell, Emma Horn, Claire Lovering, Sana’a Shaik, Bernie Van Tiel, Chi Nguyen, Sarah Krndiga, Rose Flanagan, and Debra Lawrance.

The series is produced by Matchbox Pictures, part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, with Amazon Studios.

Kacie Anning serves as creator and executive producer, writer, and director.

Mimi Butler is the producer and executive producer, while Alastair McKinnon and Debbie Lee serve as executive producers for Matchbox Pictures.

Since 2019, Prime Video has commissioned 23 Amazon Original series in Australia, including The Test S1-S2, Making Their Mark, a series of 10 stand-up comedy specials by some of Australia’s best comedians, and LOL: Last One Laughing Australia with Rebel Wilson.

There’s also Back to the Rafters, Luxe Listings Sydney S1 – S3, The Moth Effect, Head Above Water, award-winning feature-length documentary Burning, Kick Like Tayla, and Warriors on the Field.

The list continues with Deadloch, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, and the first Australian Amazon Original movie Five Blind Dates.

Newly-announced titles Hot Potato: The Story of the Wiggles, Dance Life, The Defenders, Hugh van Cuylenburg: G.E.M along with a series of five stand-up comedy specials will be released this year.
