BritBox March 2022 Schedule Announced

BBC Studios and ITV have announced the BritBox March 2022 titles, which include everything from new BritBox Originals to classic British fare. BritBox US, which celebrated its fifth anniversary in March, is the biggest collection of streaming British television in North America.

The BritBox March 2022 schedule includes its first global commission, Murder in Provence. Based on the Verlaque and Bonnet series by M.L. Longworth, this witty treasure stars Roger Allam (Endeavour), Nancy Carroll (The Crown), and Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman).

The series follows Antoine Verlaque (Allam) as an Investigating Judge in Aix-en Provence and his romantic partner turned partner-in-crime Marine Bonnet (Carroll) as they investigate the murders, the mysteries, and the surprisingly dark underbelly of their idyllic home. Their efforts are aided by Hélène (Settle), a hard-nosed detective and Antoine’s trusted confidante.

The BritBox March 2022 lineup also includes the full-length documentary This Is Joan Collins, produced by Salon Pictures and narrated by Hollywood royalty Joan Collins herself, along with the highly-anticipated premiere of The Bay Season 3, featuring new lead Marsha Thomason (Lost).

Also in March, the wildly popular Gardeners’ World with Monty Don will begin streaming with a new season filled with gardening tips and inspiration.

BritBox is available for $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year — after an introductory free trial period — on Roku, Amazon Fire TV stick, Apple TV 4th Gen, Samsung, LG, and all iOS and Android devices, AirPlay, Chromecast, and online at BritBox.com. Adapted from the books by M.L. DS Jenn Townsend (Marsha Thomason, Lost), Morecambe’s new FLO, is thrown in the deep end when a body is found in the Bay on her first day in the job.

Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Jessica Hynes (There She Goes), Olivia Colman (The Crown), and Amelia Bullmore (Scott & Bailey) star in this six-part comedy-drama about the people paddling hard beneath the water to make the Olympics happen in London in 2012.

Filmed in a documentary style, this comedy series deals with such hot topics as how to phase the traffic lights across London to get people from west to east, who to sell the Taekwondo hall to after the event, what to do when protesters leave large quantities of horse dung on the doorstep in protest at the siting of the equestrian events and how to cope with sportsmen who want to help but are just too dull.
