BritBox June 2022 Schedule Announced

BBC Studios and ITV have announced the BritBox June 2022 titles, which include everything from new BritBox Originals to classic British fare. BritBox is a digital video subscription service offering the largest collection of British TV in the U.S. and Canada.

The BritBox June 2022 schedule includes the exclusive premiere of The Barking Murders. The series comes from the award-winning writing team of Jeff Pope (Isolation Stories, Deep Water) and Neil McKay (The Suspicion of Mr. Whicher, The Moorside).

The chilling true crime story reveals the courageous families of four young gay men who lost their lives to killer Stephen Port (played by Emmy winner Stephen Merchant) and their fight for justice for their loved ones. The series reveals the devastating impact that these crimes had on both the victims’ loved ones and the wider gay community in London.

On June 14, Redemption, a new crime drama from the producers of the hit series The Bay, will also exclusively premiere on BritBox. A powerful story about family and second chances at its heart, the series follows the life of a dedicated detective (Paula Malcomson, Ray Donovan) whose estranged daughter has been found dead and the events that follow.

The BritBox June 2022 lineup also includes the return of Grace, a thriller written by Russell Lewis (Endeavour) and based on the bestselling Roy Grace series by Peter James. Starring John Simm (Life on Mars, Trauma), the story picks up months from DS Roy Grace’s last investigation as he and his team face a new set of shocking cases.

After demonstrating their well-meaning ineptitude at the Olympic Deliverance Commission in Twenty Twelve, Ian Fletcher has now joined the British Broadcasting Corporation for BAFTA-winning W1A, a fictional satirical behind-the-scenes series based at the BBC’s London headquarters.

Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey) and Jessica Hynes (There She Goes) return to their roles alongside a new cast and David Tennant (There She Goes) as the narrator.
