Golden Globe and SAG Award-winner Idris Elba (Thor) returns to his iconic role. Created by Emmy-nominated writer Neil Cross (The Mosquito Coast).

When the moonless shadows of London give birth to a new nightmare, John Luther once again confronts the depths of human depravity. As a series of monstrous killings becomes more audacious, Luther and new recruit DS Catherine Halliday (Wunmi Mosaku, Loki) are confounded by a tangle of misdirection that seems to protect an unspeakable horror.

But as the case brings him closer than ever to the nature of true evil, a reluctant Luther faces the ghosts of his own past.

Striding back into the line of fire, he must choose who to protect, and who to sacrifice. Whatever his next move, it will change John Luther forever.

The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes | New to BritBox | Season 1: 13 x 50’, Season 2: 13 x 50’ | All at Once
This series brings to life the many detectives of late Victorian London who were “The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes,” including R. Austin Freeman’s brilliant forensic expert Dr. John Thorndyke (John Neville, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen).

There’s also Arthur Morrison’s notorious villain, private inquiry agent Horace Dorrington (Peter Vaughan, Game of Thrones), William Hope Hodgson’s world-famous ghost hunter Carnacki (Halloween) and Baroness Orczy’s detective Lady Molly (Elvi Hale, Bergerac) of Scotland Yard.

S26: 10 x 60’ | All at Once

Award-winning crime drama Silent Witness returns for an exciting 26th series, with five more thrilling cases for the team at the Lyell Centre to solve.

Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox, In The Footsteps of Killers) and the team of forensic pathologists and scientists investigate intriguing new cases.

The cases include a body falling from the top of a skyscraper, a people trafficking operation, a suspicious death at a festival, a train crash, and corrupt police officers. The cases that end up at the Lyell Centre are rarely straightforward.

Initial suspicions are challenged as the evidence mounts and Nikki and the team must work harder than ever to uncover the truth.

24 Hours in Police Custody Season 10 | North American Premiere, BritBox Exclusive | 18 x 50’ | All at Once

Each story plays out against the time pressure of only being able to hold a suspect in police custody for a maximum of 24 hours before that person must be charged or released. These stories have all the intrigue and fascination of a police drama – but here they are very real.
