BBC Studios and ITV have announced the BritBox July 2020 titles, which include everything from new BritBox Originals to classic British fare. BritBox is the biggest collection of streaming British television in North America.
BritBox is kicking off its first ever “Mystery Month” this July. By popular demand, the service celebrates decades of crime-solving detectives with a line-up of iconic British mysteries. The festivities will kick off with the debut of all-new exclusive weekly episodes of Father Brown.
In addition, BritBox will bring the critically-acclaimed series The Fall, starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson, while completing its collection of Taggart, the longest-running UK mystery of all time.
BritBox continues to be the home to timeless mystery series, from period to modern day. Join fan favorite detectives solving a number of exciting and thrilling mysteries across many iconic franchises, including Life on Mars, Classic Father Brown, Maigret, Sherlock Holmes, Cadfael, Campion, Quirke, and The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco.

Everyone’s favorite priest returns to solve more mysteries in the sleepy Cotswold village of Kembleford. A mysterious saboteur tries to stop the Kembleford Choristers from winning the Three Counties Choir competition. Suspicion immediately falls on the rival choir, the Hambleston Harmonisers. The Kembleford Choristers race against time to get to the competition before they are disqualified, all while Father Brown works to discover who is out to get them.

The longest running Crime TV series in the world comes to and is famous for its dark, realistic and gritty storylines. The series revolves around a group of detectives, initially in the Maryhill CID of Strathclyde Police, though various storylines were set and shot in other parts of Greater Glasgow and in other areas of Scotland. DCI (Detective Chief Inspector) Jim Taggart, played by Mark McManus (until his death in 1995) is the procedural’s main protagonist. Taggart and his team operate out of the fictional John Street police station and investigate gruesome murders against the bleak backdrop of the city of Glasgow.
