The Bosch Season 5 Trailer and Premiere Date

Season five of the riveting fan-favorite police drama Bosch will premiere Friday, April 19, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. All ten episodes of the fifth season will be available to Prime members on that date. Bosch Season 5 is produced by Fabrik Entertainment, a Red Arrow Studios company.

Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels, the one-hour series Bosch stars Titus Welliver (Lost) as homicide Detective Harry Bosch, Jamie Hector (The Wire) as Detective Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino (Being Human) as Lt. Grace Billets, Madison Lintz (The Walking Dead) as Maddie Bosch and Lance Reddick (The Wire) as Chief Irvin Irving.

Bosch Season 5 picks up 15 months after Bosch has finally brought his mother’s killer to justice, and he now finds himself seeking the truth on two fronts. New evidence in an old case leaves everyone wondering whether Bosch crossed the line by planting evidence. Simultaneously, a murder at a Hollywood pharmacy exposes a sophisticated opioid pill mill, and Bosch’s search for the killers takes him down a dark and perilous path.

Bosch was developed for television by Eric Overmyer (Treme, The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Streets) and is executive produced by Henrik Bastin (The 100 Code, American Odyssey, The Comedians), Pieter Jan Brugge (Heat, The Insider, The Clearing), Connelly, Elle Johnson (Finding Carter, The Fosters) John Mankiewicz (House of Cards, Magic City), Daniel Pyne (Backstabbing for Beginners, Fracture, The Manchurian Candidate) and Overmyer. Welliver also serves as producer.
