Bill Pullman, Eddie Izzard and Diplo Join Covers

Bill Pullman, Eddie Izzard and Diplo are the latest to join the cast of Covers, the upcoming comedy from Focus Features and Working Title. They join the previously-announced Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Ice Cube in the comedy set among the talent, fame, and fast-paced world of Hollywood’s music scene.

Covers is directed by Late Night director Nisha Ganatra from a screenplay by Flora Greeson. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles.

SAG Award-nominee Bill Pullman recently starred in Battle of the Sexes and The Sinner. Eddie Izzard’s most recently starred in Victoria & Abdul, as well as Ocean’s Thirteen, and Across the Universe.

Grammy winner Diplo is one of the industry’s most accomplished record producers and DJs, having worked with artists including Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Madonna. In addition to releasing music under his own name he is a member of LSD with Labyrinth and Sia, as well as Silk City with Mark Ronson and Major Lazer. His most recent acting credit was in Detective Pikachu.

Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are producing with Alexandra Loewy as executive producer. Focus Features will distribute the film in the U.S. and Universal Pictures International will distribute internationally.
