Bill and Ted Face the Music Release Moved Up and Go Behind the Scenes!

-

Orion Pictures tells us that the Bill and Ted Face the Music release has been moved up a few days. You’ll now be able to watch the third installment On Demand and in select theaters on August 28. The film was previously scheduled for September 1.

In addition to the Bill and Ted Face the Music release announcement, the distributor is taking us behind the scenes of the anticipated film in a new video that you can watch below.

Bill and Ted Face the Music stars Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, and Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Jillian Bell, Holland Taylor, Beck Bennett, William Sadler, Hal Landon Jr. and Amy Stoch.

Directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, Red 2, Fun with Dick and Jane) from a script by returning franchise writers Chris Matheson (Imagine That, A Goofy Movie) and Ed Solomon (Men in Black, Mosaic), the film will continue to track the time-traveling exploits of William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. and Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan.

Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it.

Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

Bill & Ted Face The Music is produced by Scott Kroopf (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Limitless) alongside Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce on behalf of Hammerstone Studios.

Steven Soderbergh, R. Scott Reid, John Ryan Jr., Scott Fischer and John Santilli are serving as executive producers.

The film is financed by media entrepreneur and producer David Haring along with Patrick Dugan of Dugan Entertainment. Orion Pictures will release the sci-fi adventure comedy through United Artists Releasing.

In case you missed them, you can still watch the previously-release trailers below as well.
