Bella Thorne and Jake Manley in the Infamous Trailer

Vertical Entertainment has released the trailer and poster for action thriller Infamous, the story of two young lovers who rob their way across the southland. The movie will be available on VOD/Digital (pre-order at Amazon) and in select Virtual Cinemas on June 12.

In the film, Arielle (Bella Thorne) is a down on her luck dreamer who longs for popularity. Dean (Jake Manley of The Order, Holidate) is an ex-con working for his abusive father. The two have an instant connection, and after the accidental death of Dean’s father, they are forced on the run.

In an attempt to gain social media clout, Arielle livestreams their robberies. The two become a modern day viral Bonnie & Clyde steam-rolling towards a tragic ending.

Infamous also stars Amber Riley (Glee) and is written and directed by Joshua Caldwell. The producers are Colin Bates, Shaun Sanghani, Scott Levenson, and Michael Jefferson.

“We’ve always believed Infamous deserved a dynamic and exciting approach to its distribution and marketing so we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Peter and his team at Vertical Entertainment on the release of Infamous. They are the perfect company to bring this movie to the viewing public,“ said the filmmakers previously.

“Bella Thorne is a force to be reckoned with in this high intensity crime thriller that provides a distinct take on the desire for social media fame,” added Rich Goldberg, co-president of Vertical Entertainment. “We’re excited to bring this film to North American audiences.”

Infamous was produced by Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment alongside Colin Bates and Michael Jefferson of Lucidity Entertainment and Scott Levenson in association with Vertical Entertainment, Beer Money Worldwide and El Ride Productions. Thor Bradwell is producer.
