Batwoman Comic-Con Poster Featuring Ruby Rose

Following the series’ panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, The CW has released the Batwoman Comic-Con poster, which you can view in full below. It was also announced at the panel that Burt Ward, who played Robin in the 1960s Batman series, will appear in the Batwoman episode of the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.

In case you missed it, you can still watch the new Batwoman teaser from yesterday here as well.

Batwoman is premiering on The CW Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 8:00-9:00pm ET/PT and will be followed by Supergirl (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).

David Nutter, who has helmed Game of Thrones, Arrow and The Flash, directed the Batwoman series pilot. Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries) serves as the showrunner for the series. Ruby Rose (The MegOrange is the New Black) appeared as Batwoman in The CW’s three-episode Elseworlds crossover in December 2018.

Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly-trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.

Caroline Dries is executive producer and writer of the Batwoman series, which is also executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns, and Nutter. Directing and also executive producing is Marcos Siega. The series, based on the characters from DC, comes from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
