Bad Education Filming Begins with Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney

Principal photography has begun on Cory Finley’s (Thoroughbreds) new film, Bad Education, starring Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Hugh Jackman, Academy Award winner Allison Janney, Emmy Award winner Ray Romano, Geraldine Viswanathan and Alex Wolff.

Shooting on location in New York, BLOOM is handing international sales, while Endeavor Content is handling U.S. sales.

Bad Education is produced by Academy Award nominee Fred Berger (La La Land) and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Loving) of Automatik, and Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lebedev and Oren Moverman (Monsters and Men, Wildlife) of Sight Unseen, and Mike Makowsky (I Think We’re Alone Now, Take Me) who penned the script, which is based on his high school experience.

Rafael Casal (Blindspotting) also joins the cast, alongside Stephen Spinella (Angels in America), Annaleigh Ashford (Masters of Sex), Hari Dillon (This Is Us), Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal), Jeremy Shamos (The Big Sick), Katherine Narducci (The Sopranos), Welker White (The Irishman), Stephanie Kurtzuba (The Good Wife), Peter Appel, Ray Abruzzo (Transparent) and Catherine Curtin (Insecure).
