Netflix has released an official clip from Aziz Ansari Right Now, the new comedy special that launches globally on the streaming service tomorrow, July 9th.
The comedy special, based on the comic’s sold out Road to Nowhere tour, was directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Spike Jonze (Her, Being John Malkovich, Adaptation).
Ansari’s worldwide comedy tour, Road to Nowhere, sold out in 75 cities in the United States and 12 countries abroad, including shows in Mumbai, Dehli, Sydney (Sydney Opera House), London (Royal Albert Hall), and Paris (L’Olympia). Most recently, Ansari sold out two shows at New York City’s famed Radio City Music Hall (June 14 & 15) and three shows with Dave Chappelle at Austin’s The Paramount Theater in April.
The Jonze-directed special is a filmed set from the Brooklyn Academy of Music tour dates in Brooklyn, New York.
