Marvel Studios‘ Avengers: Endgame took advantage of the May Day holiday in many international markets on Wednesday to gross an amazing $183 million globally for the day. The film added $25.2 million domestically and $157.8 million internationally yesterday, which puts the North American total at $452.3 million and overseas total at $1.212 billion ($1,211.8 million).
The Avengers: Endgame worldwide total has reached $1.664 billion after eight days, making it the sixth highest-grossing movie of all time globally, surpassing Furious 7 ($1.516 billion) and The Avengers ($1.519 billion).
In addition to the impressive Endgame worldwide total, yesterday also star the film pass Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($1.132 billion) and Furious 7 ($1.163 billion) to become the #4 highest-grossing international movie of all time after just eight days of release.
Today is another day of holiday in China. The early estimate for China is an estimated Thursday gross of Rmb336M ($50 million), which would take the gross in China to Rmb3.43Bn ($509 million).
