Marvel Studios‘ Avengers: Endgame added $40.6 million domestically and $88.2 million internationally on Friday, May 3rd. The Endgame global total is now up to $1.915 billion, with $514.5 million coming from North America and $1.4 billion from overseas. The film has already climbed to No. 5 on the all-time highest-grossing worldwide list.
Internationally, Friday saw Avengers: Endgame pass Avengers: Infinity War ($1.370 billion) to now become the No. 3 highest-grossing international movie of all time, while domestically the film is now No. 12 all time and has become the ninth Walt Disney Studios film to gross over $500 million.
The key international territories through Friday include: China ($547.4M); UK ($75.6M); Korea ($68.4M); Mexico ($53.5M); Brazil ($47.0M); India ($45.7M); Germany ($39.9M); Australia ($39.8M); France ($37.3M); Japan ($29.8M); Russia ($27.6M); Indonesia ($26.3M); Italy ($26.0M); Philippines ($25.9M); Spain ($21.9M); Thailand ($20.5M); Hong Kong ($20.0M); Taiwan ($19.3M); and Malaysia ($16.0M).
Kevin Feige produces Avengers: Endgame, and Anthony and Joe Russo are the directors. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee are the executive producers, and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay.
