Netflix has released the official poster for the Zack Snyder-directed Army of the Dead movie, coming to select theaters and the streaming service on May 21, 2021. You can view the poster in full below and the teaser trailer for the Army of the Dead movie is still available here.

In Army of the Dead, following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. The film has been rated R for strong bloody violence, gore and language throughout, some sexual content and brief nudity/graphic nudity.
The movie’s screenplay was written by Snyder, Shay Hatten and Joby Harold from a story by Snyder. The producers are Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller and Zack Snyder.

Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Garret Dillahunt.
The cast also includes Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone, and Michael Cassidy. The movie was filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico and a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It will be part of a larger upcoming Universe, including a prequel film and an anime series, titled Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas. Hatten wrote both those Netflix projects.
The Army of the Dead prequel film is directed by and stars Grimme Award winner Matthias Schweighöfer and will follow his character Ludwig Dieter. Also starring are Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Jonathan Cohen, Noémi Nakai, and Peter Simonischek.
The film will be produced by Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Wesley Coller of The Stone Quarry and Matthias Schweighöfer and Dan Maag of PANTALEON Films. Filming began in October 2020 and finished in December 2020.
The anime series, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, chronicles the origin story of Scott (Dave Bautista) and his rescue crew during the initial fall of Vegas as they confront the mysterious source of the zombie outbreak. Zack Snyder will direct two episodes of the anime series.

Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and upcoming Netflix Original Anime Series Trese) will be showrunning as well as directing two episodes of the series. The series will be executive produced by Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Wesley Coller from The Stone Quarry alongside Jay Olivia and Shay Hatten.
Dave Bautista, Ana de la Reguera, Tig Notaro, Omari Hardwick and Ella Purnell will reprise their roles in the anime series.

Also voicing characters are Joe Manganiello, Christian Slater, Harry Lennix, Ross Butler, Anya Chalotra, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Yetide Badaki, Christina Wren, Monica Barbaro, and Nolan North.
Snyder launched his feature directorial career with the hit 2004 film Dawn of the Dead. He has since directed such high-profile pics as 300, Watchmen, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
