Marvel Studios has released the official trailer and poster for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which will be released in theaters on February 17, 2023. Disney describes the film as an epic, sci-fi adventure.
In the film, which officially kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Together with Hope’s parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family explores the Quantum Realm, interacts with strange new creatures and embarks on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard.
Released in July of 2015, the first Ant-Man movie was a hit at the worldwide box office, with a gross of $519.3 million. $180.2 million of that figure came from domestic theaters and $339.1 million from international markets.
The sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp, debuted in July of 2018 and earned $622.7 million at the global box office, with $216.6 million coming from North American theaters and $406 million from overseas markets.
