With a domestic total of $214.1 million and an international sum of $386.7 million, including $112 million in China, the global Ant-Man and The Wasp box office crossed the $600 million mark yesterday.
Marvel Studios‘ Ant-Man and The Wasp is the 15th film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to reach this box office milestone. It is now the seventh-highest grossing movie of the year, globally. The sequel opened in U.S. theaters on July 6, 2018.
The first film hit theaters in July of 2015 and earned $180 million domestically and $339.1 million internationally, for a worldwide total of $519.3 million.

Ant-Man and The Wasp was directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John-Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, with Michelle Pfeiffer, with Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Douglas.
Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produced the film, which was executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Charles Newirth and Stan Lee. Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, Paul Rudd & Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari wrote the screenplay.
