And Just Like That Season 2 Gets the Green Light

HBO Max has given the green light to And Just Like That Season 2. The series delivered the strongest debut of any Max Original series to date.

And Just Like That comes from executive producer Michael Patrick King alongside stars and executive producers Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis.

And Just Like That…, the new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series Sex and the City, follows Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Nixon), and Charlotte (Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

The first season also stars Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler.

“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters – played by these powerful, amazing actors,” said Michael Patrick King.

“The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just Like That… our Sex life is back.”

The executive producers include Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi, and Michael Patrick King. The writers are King, Samantha Irby, Rachna Fruchbom, Keli Goff, Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky.

The directors have included King, Gillian Robespierre, Cynthia Nixon, Anu Valia, and Nisha Ganatra. The HBO series Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and was based on the book Sex and the City by Candace Bushnell.
