FX Networks has debuted the first official American Horror Story: 1984 teaser which gives your first look at Camp Redwood. The video comes with the tagline: “Welcome to Camp Redwood. Good luck leaving alive.”

The cast of the new season includes Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, John Carroll Lynch, Leslie Grossman, and Matthew Morrison, as well as newcomers Angelica Ross (Pose), DeRon Horton (Dear White People), and Olympian Gus Kenworthy.

Sarah Paulson, who has appeared in all eight seasons of the series, will not appear in a significant role in 1984. Evan Peters, who has also appeared in all eight seasons, and Billy Eichner, who starred in Cult and Apocalypse, are not returning for 1984.

American Horror Story: 1984 premieres on FX September 18. American Horror Story is an anthology horror drama series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.

American Horror Story: 1984 is the ninth installment in the anthology series.

In addition to the first teaser, you can still watch the cast announcement from earlier this month in Ryan Murphy’s post below. “To celebrate the first day of filming the NINTH Season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, here’s the official 1984 cast announcement along with some amazing 80s lewks.
