AMC has announced the programming coming to the AMC+ streaming service in August. The AMC Plus August 2021 lineup includes a wide variety of critically-acclaimed and commercial-free programming, including compelling new dramas, fan-favorite franchises, and film collections from across the company’s entertainment networks and targeted streaming services.
The AMC Plus August 2021 schedule includes the final installment of The Walking Dead: Origins, spotlighting fan-favorite character Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), the season finale of The Beast Must Die, starring Jared Harris and Cush Jumbo, and new episodes of The North Water, starring Colin Farrell, Jack O’Connell and Stephen Graham.

Early access to Season 11 of The Walking Dead begins Sunday, August 15, with new episodes available on AMC+ one week ahead of their linear premiere on AMC. New episodes of the AMC+ Original animated baby doll detective series Ultra City Smiths debut every Thursday with the season finale on Thursday, August 19.
The AMC Plus August 2021 slate also features a full series binge of the critically-acclaimed drama Happy Valley and new episodes of BBC landmark nature series Eden: Untamed Planet, narrated by Helena Bonham Carter.

The Walking Dead: Origins – Carol’s Story – Premieres Thursday, August 5
As fans gear up for the highly anticipated new season of The Walking Dead, AMC+ is offering an in-depth exploration of some of the series’ most celebrated characters with a series of specials, each charting the story of the zombie apocalypse from the point of view of a single character.
Spotlighting Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), each episode features new interviews and narrations from the actors that portray these iconic characters, interwoven with clips from the most pivotal moments of their journeys so far. Magic City Season 2 Binge – Premieres Thursday, August 5

The Beast Must Die – Season Finale Premieres Monday, August 9
A modern retelling of the Nicholas Blake novel (pseudonym of Poet Laureate Cecil Day-Lewis CBE) taken from his Nigel Strangeways series, this gripping six-part AMC+ Original revenge thriller stars BAFTA Award-winning actor Jared Harris (Chernobyl, Mad Men) and Cush Jumbo OBE (The Good Wife, The Good Fight). After learning the police investigation into the fatal hit and run of her young son Martie has been dropped, Frances Cairnes (Jumbo) takes matters into her own hands.
