Alice in Borderland and The Witcher: Blood Origin CCXP Trailers

Netflix this weekend brought the official trailers for Alice in Borderland Season 2 and The Witcher: Blood Origin to CCXP 2022 in Brazil. You can watch both trailers by scrolling down!

Alice in Borderland is based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso. The second season will begin streaming on Netflix December 22, 2022.

In the series, Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) try to unravel the mysteries of Borderland to return to the real world. In a place they believe holds the key to uncovering these mysteries, they meet allies, enemies, and the mastermind behind all of the games.

Arisu and the others pit themselves against games of a scale and difficulty that exceed the first season. The remaining games are only the Jack, Queen, and King cards, but will they be able to collect them all and return to the real world?

The mega-hit survival drama Alice in Borderland is directed by Shinsuke Sato from a script by Yasuko Kuramitsu and Shinsuke Sato. The first season of the series reached the Top 10 in at least 70 countries worldwide.

The cast includes Nijiro Murakami, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Yuri Tsunematsu, Yutaro Watanabe, Yuki Morinaga, Keita Machida, and Hayato Isomura.

Also starring are Kai Inowaki, Katsuya Maikuma, Honami Sato, Chihiro Yamamoto, Nobuaki Kaneko, Tsuyoshi Abe, Sho Aoyagi, Riisa Naka, and Tomohisa Yamashita.

The executive producer is Kaata Sakamoto and the producer is Akira Morii. The production company is ROBOT for Netflix.

Taking place in the elven Golden Era, 1200 years before the time of Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri, The Witcher: Blood Origin tells the story of seven strangers who join together to fight an unstoppable empire.

Though they hail from warring clans, Éile and Fjall must learn to trust one another if they have any hope of leading this band of outcasts on their quest to topple the Continent’s oppressors.

But, when gateways to other worlds are opened and a power-hungry sage unleashes a new weapon, the Seven realize they must create a monster in order to defeat one.

This four-part prequel series premieres on Netflix on December 25. The first two seasons of The Witcher are available to stream now.

The Witcher: Blood Origin comes from showrunner and executive producer Declan De Barra and executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.

The cast includes Michelle Yeoh as Scian, Lenny Henry as Chief Druid Balor, Laurence O’Fuarain as Fjall, Sophia Brown as Eile, Mirren Mack as Empress Merwyn, Lizzie Annis as Zacare, Francesca Mills as Meldof, Zach Wyatt as Syndril, and Huw Novelli as Brother Death. Minnie Driver appears in a guest role.
