Alias Reboot May be Happening, Says Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner, who returns to TV in HBO’s Camping on Sunday, October 14th, tells The Hollywood Reporter that she believes ABC is working on an Alias reboot.

“I’ve heard that there’s an Alias reboot happening, but no one’s talked to me about it,” she says. “I mean it would be totally different. But if they didn’t have me on as a guest, I would be very, very angry. But I can’t imagine it being that serious yet because I haven’t heard anything about it at all.”

Executive produced by J.J. AbramsAlias ran for five seasons on ABC from September 2001 to May 2006. In the series, Jennifer Garner plays Sydney Bristow, who discovers that her employer, SD6, is not part of the government but actually an enemy organization. She goes to work undercover at SD6 as a double agent, while actually working with the CIA. Her greatest ally is another fellow double agent: her father.

The critically-acclaimed Bad Robot and Touchstone production co-stars Michael Vartan, Victor Garber, Ron Rifkin, Carl Lumbly, Kevin Weisman, Greg Grunberg, David Anders, Merrin Dungey, Lena Olin, Melissa George, Mía Maestro, Rachel Nichols, Balthazar Getty, and Bradley Cooper.
