The Walt Disney StudiosAladdin is crossing the $500 million mark globally today after just 15 days of release. This means that Aladdin has now also surpassed the lifetime global total of Oz the Great and Powerful ($493 million) as well as the lifetime domestic total of Cinderella ($201 million) after surpassing the $200 million mark yesterday. The film was at $203.1 million domestically and $293.1 million internationally after yesterday.

The film’s strong word-of-mouth is reflected by the fact that Aladdin was once again the No. 1 movie in the US throughout this week. Aladdin now already stands as the No. 3 domestic release of 2019 to date, giving The Walt Disney Studios all top three releases. This weekend sees it open in its final international market, Japan.

The international highlights include: China ($43.3M); UK ($27.5M); Mexico ($21.5M); Korea ($17.1M); Italy ($13.6M); Russia ($13.5M); Spain ($12.8M); Indonesia ($12.1M); Australia ($11.9M); Brazil ($11.3M); France ($8.9M); Germany ($8.3M); Philippines ($8.1M); and India ($7.1M).
