Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 4 First Look

-

ABC Studios and Marvel Television have released a first look at Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 4 in the form of a promo and photos. Titled “Out of the Past,” the episode will premiere on Wednesday, June 17 at 10/9c on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.

The synopsis for Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 4 goes as follows: “It was just another average morning on July 22, 1955, when Agent Phil Coulson realized the importance of that day in the S.H.I.E.L.D. history books. With a chip on his shoulder and a genre-bending glitch in his system, he’d set into motion a chain of events that would hopefully preserve the timeline as we know it and ensure those pesky chronicoms get the ending they deserve. What could go wrong?”

“Out of the Past” was written by Mark Leitner and directed by Garry A. Brown.

In the final season, Agent Phil Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 7 stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leopold Fitz, Henry Simmons as Director Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and Jeff Ward as Deke Shaw.

Guest starring are Joel Stoffer, Tobias Jelinek, Neal Bledsoe, Larry Clarke and Enver Gjokaj.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb.

“Agent Coulson is one of the most beloved cinematic heroes of our time, and we’re so glad to have spent seven seasons with him and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents as they saved the world from countless unimaginable big bads,” said Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment previously. “I am so impressed with the eternally fresh, heart-pounding, and emotional stories the writers and creative team at Marvel Television brought to life that led ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ to be the longest-running Marvel series to date.”

“It will be bittersweet saying goodbye to Marvel Television’s flagship series,” said Jeph Loeb, executive producer and Marvel’s head of Television. “Our success is a true testament to the extraordinary fans and we remain forever indebted to them for their endless support. We want to end on a very high note and complete the incredible saga after seven amazing seasons and 136 hours of quality television.”

You can watch the promo for Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 4 above and we’ve also got a feature on Enver Gjokaj (Agent Carter) joining the cast this season as Agent Sousa.
