After Movie Series to Continue with Third and Fourth Installments

-

With the second film coming to theaters and On Demand on October 23, 2020, it’s been announced today that the After movie series will continue with a third and fourth installment.

You can watch Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin make the announcement using the player below.

The first After movie was released in theaters on April 12, 2019 and grossed $69.7 million worldwide, with $12.1 million coming from North American theaters and $57.6 million from overseas.

Based on Anna Todd’s best-selling novelsAfter follows Tessa (Josephine Langford), a dedicated student, dutiful daughter and loyal girlfriend to her high school sweetheart, as she enters her first semester in college.

Armed with grand ambitions for her future, her guarded world opens up when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), a magnetic, brooding rebel who makes her question all she thought she knew about herself and what she wants out of life.

After was directed by Jenny Gage from a script by Susan McMartin. The producers are Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Jennifer Gibgot, Anna Todd, Aron Levitz, Meadow Williams and Dennis Pelino.

The second movie, titled After We Collided like the book, was directed by Roger Kumble and stars Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Dylan Sprouse, Charlie Weber, Shane Paul McGhie, Louise Lombard, and Candice King.

After We Collided is officially described as follows: “Hardin will always be… Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with – or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy.

“Not with the memory of the passionate nights they spent together. Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She’s focused on her studies and just starting an exciting new internship at Vance Publishing. She’s also being pursued by Trevor, a handsome new co-worker who is exactly the kind of guy she should be with.

Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He wants to right his wrongs and overcome his demons. He’s not going to lose Tessa without a fight. But can he change? Will he change… for love? AFTER WE COLLIDED… Life will never be the same.

While the titles of the third and fourth movies have not been announced, the books are titled After We Well and After Ever Happy, respectively.
