Acorn TV May 2022 Schedule Announced

Acorn TV has announced the titles that are coming to the AMC-owned streaming service in May. The Acorn TV May 2022 lineup adds to the service’s wide variety of acclaimed English and foreign-language dramas, engaging comedies, documentaries and more.

The Acorn TV May 2022 schedule includes episodes of Signora Volpe, the season finale of Hidden Assets, and all episodes of The Truth Will Out Season 2.

Top British spy Sylvia Fox (Emilia Fox, Silent Witness) is in Italy for her niece’s wedding when the groom goes missing, leaving a dead body behind him. Sylvia solves the mystery and falls in love – with Italy, and with a crumbling old house on a hillside. Disillusioned with her job and longing to reconnect with her family, Sylvia decides to stay on and start a new life in the little town of Panicale.

But trouble has a habit of seeking Sylvia out and she finds herself tackling a fresh mystery every week – and in the process, becoming increasingly close to handsome local cop Giovanni Riva (Giovanni Cerfiera, American Crime Story: Assassination of Gianni Versace.) A routine raid led by a detective in the Irish Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) reveals that a small-time drug dealer has been receiving substantial funding from a seemingly untraceable source – not in cash, but in rough diamonds. When these diamonds are linked to a series of bombings in Belgium, Detective Emer Berry (Angeline Ball, Acceptable Risk, Keeping Faith) is forced to work with Police Commissioner Christian De Jong (Wouter Hendrickx, Blackout, Undercover).

Eventually banding together, they unravel a political conspiracy fueling domestic unrest for financial gain. Caught up in this web of greed are the Brannigans, a wealthy Irish dynasty with ties to Antwerp. Drawn into a battle of wits with the family, Emer, Christian and the CAB team must follow the money to stop another terrorist attack before it’s too late.

Peter Wendel’s understaffed Cold Case Unit has barely risen in the ranks at the police station since season one, but everything changes when a colleague is suddenly found dead. Sana’s friend Kamal turns up at the station with information about the night Sana disappeared, giving Christian and Emer a crucial lead.
