Acorn TV March 2023 Schedule Announced

Acorn TV has announced the titles that are coming to the AMC-owned streaming service in March. The Acorn TV March 2023 lineup adds to the service’s wide variety of acclaimed English and foreign-language dramas, engaging comedies, documentaries and more.

The Acorn TV March 2023 schedule includes Acorn TV Originals such as Holding, The Madame Blanc Mysteries Season 2, The Larkins Season 2, and Murdoch Mysteries Season 16.

Holding (Acorn TV Exclusive) – Binge Premiere Monday, March 6
Nothing ever happens in tiny Irish towns like Duneen – until one day human remains are found buried on a farm there. For the first time ever, police sergeant PJ Collins (Conleth Hill) has a genuine crime to solve.

A lifetime’s worth of small-town secrets are unearthed, revealing the villagers’ dark pasts and rousing PJ’s own inner demons. Also featuring Charlene McKenna (Bloodlands) and Siobhan McSweeney (Derry Girls).

The Madame Blanc Mysteries Season 2 (Acorn TV Original) – New Episodes Premiere Mondays Until Season Finale on March 6
Renowned and respected antiques dealer, Jean White (Sally Lindsay) returns fresh from surviving an attempt on her life by the duplicitous Barbara. Jean’s expertise in the world of antiquities and antiques once again proves the key to solving a series of murders and mysteries against the backdrop of the beautiful French village of Sainte Victoire.

This season, Jean and Dom will grow much closer – but will friendship finally grow into something more? Meanwhile, love rolls into town for Gloria and Barbara has deadly plans to finally finish what she began.

The Larkins Season 2 (Acorn TV Exclusive) – New Season Premieres Monday, March 20
A new adaptation of the classic novel “The Darling Buds of May” by H.E. Bates, following the warm-hearted, wheeler-dealing adventures of the iconic Larkin family in the idyllic Kent countryside.

Season 2 is set in the summer of 1959 and stars Bradley Walsh, Joanna Scanlan and Lydia Page.

Murdoch Mysteries Season 16 (Acorn TV Exclusive) – New Season Premieres Monday, March 27
The internationally-acclaimed series continues to explore the personal and professional developments in the lives of Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson), Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy), Inspector Thomas Brackenreid (Thomas Craig), Constables George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) and Henry Higgins-Newsome (Lachlan Murdoch), and Detective Llewellyn Watts (Daniel Maslany).

In Season 16 of the series, they tackle Toronto’s toughest mysteries, from the serious and historic to the comical and unusual.

Meanwhile, Trevor is back in town and eager to meet daughter Gloria’s, newfound love! Can Jean and Dom (Steve Edge) find out how Dura could die in a locked room alone? And discover who would want this Rock legend dead.

Episode 7 | FINALE
There is a whiff of murder in Saint Victoire. Raffy is locking up Ozanne’s perfumery when a robber wearing a clown mask forces his way in, ties him up, and leaves him for dead. Raffy is found by his brother Raimund and who is left distraught. An antique perfume bottle was stolen.

Caron needs Jean (Sally Lindsay, Mount Pleasant, Cold Call) to help him find it and lead him to the killer. Is the attack linked to a spate of burglaries in nearby towns, or could the murderer be hiding closer to home? Barbara has deadly plans to rid herself of Jean. All of their staff has attained a considerable degree of success in their careers due to their total dedication — but at what cost to their personal lives?

Happy Valley Season 1 – BINGE
Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire, Yesterday, Julia) is the police sergeant in the West Yorkshire community of Calder Valley, also known as Happy Valley for its high incidence of drug-related problems. She has faced tragedy in her life, namely the death of her daughter, Becky, who took her own life after giving birth to a son.

Faking Hitler – EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE | BINGE
Based on a true story, Faking Hitler follows Stern’s star reporter Gerd Heidemann who needs a scoop. And Konrad Kujau needs money. The latter lives from selling fake Nazi memorabilia as Dr. Konrad Fischer. His idea: to write Hitler’s diaries.

By a circuitous route, one of them ends up in the hands of Heidemann – who is determined to acquire them for Stern. Another young editor at the magazine, Elisabeth Stöckel, is investigating actor Horst Tappert’s SS past, but finds her own father’s name in the SS files. (German-language)
