Acorn TV June 2022 Schedule Announced

Acorn TV has announced the titles that are coming to the AMC-owned streaming service in June. The Acorn TV June 2022 lineup adds to the service’s wide variety of acclaimed English and foreign-language dramas, engaging comedies, documentaries and more.

The Acorn TV June 2022 schedule includes London Kills Season 3, Hidden Season 3, and Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific.

Season 3 Binge Premieres Monday, June 6

Returning with its cutting-edge documentary style, London Kills dramatizes the experiences of an elite murder investigation squad in central London, led by Detective Inspector David Bradford (Hugo Speer, Shadow and Bone, Marcella) and the core cast including Sharon Small (Flesh and Blood, The Bay) as Detective Sergeant Vivienne Cole, Bailey Patrick (Bridgerton, Bodyguard) as Detective Constable Rob Brady and Tori Allen-Martin (Unforgotten, Pure) as Trainee Detective Constable Billie Fitzgerald.

In season 3, the elite murder investigation team deals with a series of killings – which turn out to be linked. It soon becomes clear that the killer has access to information from within the police service itself – are the detectives hunting one of their own?

DCI Cadi John (Sian Reese-Williams, Line of Duty) and DS Owen Vaughan (Siôn Alun Davies) return for the third and final installment of this hit Welsh crime drama. Twelve months after Mia Owen’s arrest, Cadi is at a crossroads, with her life in flux. After painful deliberation, Cadi and her sisters have decided to sell the family home while Cadi is navigating a new relationship.

To compound matters, a job opportunity has come up in Liverpool, forcing Cadi to ask herself the question – is it time to leave North Wales or time to face down demons, embrace her new relationship, and make Bangor her permanent home? Cadi is still searching for an answer when she and Vaughan are called to investigate the brutal murder of a man in the remote Dysynni Valley.

Martin Clunes (Doc Martin, Manhunt) embarks on an epic ocean-wide adventure in search of the real Pacific in the latest installment of his popular travel series. His voyage is inspired by reading a book about the Kon-Tiki expedition across the Pacific given to him by his father when he was a child. Martin has always yearned to follow in those explorers’ footsteps.

The Pacific Ocean, the largest ocean on the planet, covering 63 million square miles, is strewn with tens of thousands of islands with coral atolls, jungle-clad mountains, and lava-spewing volcanoes. It is rich in animal life and has an astonishing kaleidoscope of humanity.
